Venyu IPv6 Early Adopter Beta Program
Venyu is pleased to announce preliminary access to native IPv6 connectivity to customers in the BTR DC1 facility. We are accepting applicants for our IPv6 Early Adopter Beta Program now.
How it Works
Venyu will provide an initial, non-portable, allocation of an IPv6 /48 to those customers who demonstrate that they have the infrastructure to support this deployment. A /48 will provide you up to 256 subnets of /56 (which is 4 followed by 21 zeros worth of IPv6 space).
Venyu's deployment will be based upon an IPv4/IPv6 dual stack to the customer. (IPv6 will be delivered on the same network drop as the customer's existing IPv4 network.)
Venyu does not currently support providing IPv6 firewall services, therefore you will have to provide your own.
We currently have three up-streams supplying our IPv6 connectivity with two more coming online in the near future.
Conditions and Caveats
There are several conditions or caveats you should be aware of:
- We want to emphasize that this is a "beta" deployment with no IPv6 SLA provided.
- We will provide minimal support for turn-up, however, no support for configuration of customer equipment other than supplying example configuration files will be available.
- There will be no charge for initial customer IPv6 turn-ups during the beta period, but Venyu may choose to not proceed with a turn-up at any time, should there be complications or incompatibilities with customer hardware or software.
- Participation in the beta program is entirely at Venyu's discretion.
